Who I am

This website is operated by Paul (trading as SchoolSafe Systems), an independent health & safety consultant supporting UK schools, trusts and early years settings. For the purposes of UK GDPR, I am the data controller for any personal data you submit through this site.

What I collect

When you complete the contact form I collect:

• Your name
• The school or trust you represent
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• The message you send me

Why I collect it

I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to deliver the services you ask for. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to a direct enquiry you initiated) and, where a contract follows, performance of a contract.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are retained for the duration of our engagement plus 6 years, in line with standard accountancy and professional indemnity requirements.

Who I share it with

I do not sell, rent or share your data for marketing. I use a small number of trusted service providers to run my business — for example secure cloud hosting (Lovable Cloud / Supabase, hosted in the EU) and email. These providers process data on my instructions only.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and you can object to processing. Email me at the address above and I will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, this notice will be updated and a cookie banner added.
